We bring deep expertise in experimental and computational aerothermodynamics, plasma physics, hypersonic flight and flow control. Backed by a strategic advisory board, we combine technical excellence with business vision to define the future of plasma technology.
CO-FOUNDERS
Claudio is the CEO of Fusion Dynamics, bringing leadership and deep technical expertise in hypersonic aerothermodynamics and computational flow physics. He is conducting advanced research at the University of Oxford and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Claudio holds degrees from the University of Manchester and TU Delft, with international experience at NASA, ESA, JAXA, and DLR.
Macdonald is the CTO of Fusion Dynamics, leading our technical development with expertise in flow control aerodynamics and plasma actuator technology. As a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, he specializes in turbomachinery and flight vehicle design. He holds a First-Class degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Andrea is the COO of Fusion Dynamics, overseeing operations with expertise in propulsion engineering and plasma physics. He holds a Master's in Space Systems Engineering from TU Delft and Politecnico di Torino. His experience includes work with ESA, plasma propulsion research at Stanford University, and simulation efforts at the French Space Agency (CNES).
ADVISORS
Julian serves as Board Advisor to Fusion Dynamics in his civilian capacity, bringing strategic business guidance and aerospace expertise. A Harvard MBA and U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, he's a decorated combat veteran and former B-52 instructor pilot through Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training. As a Marshall Memorial Fellow with the German Marshall Fund, he was named Air Force Times Airman of the Year (2018) and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. He consults for McKinsey & Company and serves in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
